About the FAD Dashboard…

The Ohio Pork Council began developing the first FAD Dashboard in 2020 using funds provided through a Pork Checkoff grant. The goal was to create an easy-to-use online tool to help producers, veterinarians, and government officials navigate the multiple steps they need to take now to help mitigate the costly effects of a future foreign animal disease event. Since its initial release in summer 2023, the Ohio Pork Council has collaborated with the National Pork Board and other state pork associations to openly share the original FAD Dashboard resource for nationwide use for the good of the entire U.S. pork industry.
